suntory-196—2023

The EXTREME VENDING MACHINE on Adelaide's North Terrace for the Adelaide Fringe (2024) and Sydney's Tumbalong Park (2023), for the innaguaral South By South West Sydney.

Ambitious from the get-go, with a wow factor that kept audiences talking all week long. The -196 EXTREME VENDING MACHINE was a super-cooled & lemon scented three-story scaffold structure, wrapped in plastic & vinyl, fitted out to look like the industrial insides of a larger-than-life vending machine.

We flew our team and equipment to Sydney and were responsible for executing the creative vision of this ambitious brief; managing Audio visual requirements, tech and set design installation.

Using a combination of steam filled pipes, CO2 canons, motorised claws, scented haze, LED bars and a whole lot of fake lemons, we delivered an immersive experience which allowed audiences to experience the beverage in a whole [> freeze > crush] new way.
